BAFE is an independent third party certification organisation for the fire protection industry. Freedom have certification against the scopes of Design, Installation, Commissioning/Handover and Maintenance of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems.

Certification with SSAIB is a mark of excellence. Our approach is inclusive of small and larger providers alike and we have some 1,600 companies of all sizes on our register, which means that we represent the greatest number of security service providers in the sector.
Being a member of CHAS ensures benefits to both Freedom and our customers, it provides the reassurance that we are compliant with the most important parts of Health and Safety law (as described in the CDM regulations). From a buyer/customer’s perspective, assessing suppliers health and safety competence is usually a lengthy and time consuming process.
Suppliers can sometimes meet one buyer’s Health and Safety standards but not another. Being CHAS approved reduces duplication as our compliance is accepted by all CHAS buyers.
