The teams geared up in their Freedom race attire and navigated the waters to raise funds for LIVES and the CdLS Foundation UK & Ireland. The event spotlight charity, LIVES, plays a crucial role in delivering rapid emergency services across Lincolnshire, offering critical support to those in urgent need.
In addition to the funds raised for LIVES, the Freedom team dedicated their efforts to supporting the CdLS Foundation UK & Ireland. This rare genetic disorder holds particular significance for the Freedom family, and the team’s collective efforts raised an admirable £1,078 to contribute to CdLS research and support.
The Dragon Boat Festival was made especially memorable by the generous support of the community. The Freedom team thanks everyone who joined the festivities, offered encouragement, and generously donated to these causes.
We are already looking forward to next year’s Lincoln Dragon Boat Race, and we are eager to continue making waves for the community!
